Diving Queensland is pleased to be conducting a Qualifying Competition on Sunday 21st of February, 2021.                   

Competition start times:

• Dryland available from 07:00 until 09:00 am
• Warm (water) up will commence from 08:00 am to 9:00 am 
• Competition to commence at 9:00 am 
• Finish time to be confirmed tba

Venue:

• Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, Southport

Competition Entry Fees:

Compulsory registration for competitive divers:  $20.00

• Age, Junior Elite and Open Divers: Board fee for the first board is $15.  Board fee for second board is $10.  
• Where a diver is competing in two streams (ie Open and Jnr Elite), please select Junior Elite 3 metre, and Open 3 metre board event options.
• A maximum of 2 boards only allowed.  

• Synchro:

  This event will be as per Diving Australia Age competition, Junior Elite competition, and Open competition, age groups and rules apply. Click here for details

• Synchro will be from 3 metre springboard only & each age group with be combined Boys & Girls

• Athletes must compete in an individual event to be eligible to compete in the synchronised event.

• Diving Queensland reserves the right to withdraw this event from the program if there are insufficient numbers entered.

Compulsory registration for NTP Skills divers (Reduced for this competition) and Level 0 divers:  $20.00

• The board fee for one board is included in the compulsory registration fee

Compulsory registration for Novice divers:  $10.00 (Reduced for this competition)

• Novice Level 1, Novice Level 2 and Novice Level 3 (19 yrs +): Board Fee is included in the compulsory registration fee. You must select the event you are entering. 

Deadline for registration and payment:

• Sunday 14th of February, 6 pm

Dive sheets:

• Online dive sheets to be submitted online via dive recorder by Wednesday 17th February, 6pm
• Changes to dive sheets will NOT be accepted after 9:00 am on Saturday 20th February, 2021
• Any changes made from 6 pm on Wednesday 17th February, to 9 am Saturday 20th February must be notified to the Competitions Committee at competitions@divingqld.org.au as a matter of urgency                                 

EARLY PAYMENT AND SUBMISSION OF DIVE SHEETS IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED

Eligibility:

• All Divers must be registered members of a State Diving Association in the correct category for which they are competing.
• Age Requirements for Age and Junior Elite as at 31st December 2021.
