Diving Queensland is conducting a Qualifying Competition on Sunday 27th of November 2016.

Immediately following the competition, the Diving Queensland Annual Awards will be held, which will include a complimentary BBQ / Christmas party.  We hope to see you all there, and RSVP's advising of ALL people attending is required for catering/party purposes by replying to execdir@divingqld.org.au

Competition start times:

• Dry warm up will commence from 8:00 - 8:30 am
• Water warm up will commence from 8:30 am - 9:00 am
• Competition to commence at 9:00 am
• Finish time to be confirmed

Venue:

Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, Southport, Queensland

Competition Entry Fees:

Compulsory registration for all athletes:  $20.00

• Novice Level 1 and Novice Level 2: Board Fee is included in the compulsory registration fee.  You must select the event you are entering.
• Age, Junior and Open Divers: Board fee for the first board is $15.  Board fee for second board is $10.  A maximum of 2 individual boards only allowed.

Synchro:

We will again be offering a synchro event for this competition.

  
The board fee will be $10 per competitor ($20 per synchro team). 

The synchronised events will be conducted for divers in categories: Novice, 13 years and under, 14/18 years and 19 years and over, and will be a mixed board event. All divers must dive in their appropriate age group.  Younger divers may dive up an age group but must adhere to board height restrictions for their age.

Athletes must compete in an individual event to be eligible to compete in the synchronised event.

Synchronised Diving Conditions for all age groups – 2 dives @ 2.0 each + 2 dives from 3 different groups.

• Thursday 24th of November, 6 pm

Dive sheets:

• Online dive sheets to be submitted online via dive recorder by Thursday 24th November, 6pm

• Changes to dive sheets will NOT be accepted after 9:00 am on Saturday 26th November, 2016

• Any changes made from 6pm on Thursday 24th November, to 9am Saturday 26th November must be notified in writing to the Competitions Committee at competitions@divingqld.org.au

EARLY PAYMENT AND SUBMISSION OF DIVE SHEETS IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED

Eligibility:

• All Divers must be registered members of a State Diving Association in the correct category for which they are competing.
• Age Requirements are as at 31st December 2016, however if qualifying for Age Nationals or Junior Elite Nationals, age requirements for 2017 must be met.
