Diving Queensland is conducting a Qualifying Competition on Sunday 16th of October 2016.

Competition start times:

• Dry warm up will commence from 10:30 - 11:00 am
• Water warm up will commence from 11:00 am - 11:30 pm
• Competition to commence at 11:30 pm
• Finish time to be confirmed

Venue:

Brisbane Aquatic Centre, Brisbane, Queensland

Competition Entry Fees:

Compulsory registration for all athletes:  $20.00

• Novice Level 1 and Novice Level 2: Board Fee is included in the compulsory registration fee.  You must select the event you are entering.
• Age, Junior and Open Divers: Board fee for the first board is $15.  Board fee for second board is $10.  A maximum of 2 boards only allowed.

Synchro:

Due to the overwhelming success of the synchro event held at our last competition, we will again be offering a synchro event for this competition.

This event will be as per Diving Australia age groups and rules.  Copy of info attached.  
The board fee will be $10 per competitor ($20 per synchro team). 

The synchronised events will be conducted for divers 13 years and under, 14/18 years and 19 years and over on the 3 metre springboard only. All divers must dive in their appropriate age group. 

Athletes must compete in an individual event to be eligible to compete in the synchronised event.

Synchronised Diving Conditions for all age groups – 2 dives @ 2.0 each + 2 dives from 3 different groups. 

Registration of Boards / Payment Deadline:

• Thursday 13th of October, 6 pm

Dive sheets:

• Online dive sheets to be submitted online via dive recorder by Thursday 13th October, 6pm

• Changes to dive sheets will NOT be accepted after 9:00 am on Saturday 15th October, 2016

• Any changes made from 6pm on Thursday 13th October, to 9am Saturday 15th October must be notified in writing to the Competitions Committee at competitions@divingqld.org.au

EARLY PAYMENT AND SUBMISSION OF DIVE SHEETS IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED

Eligibility:

• All Divers must be registered members of a State Diving Association in the correct category for which they are competing.
• Age Requirements are as at 31st December 2016, however if qualifying for Age Nationals or Junior Elite Nationals, age requirements for 2017 must be met.
