Diving Queensland is conducting a Qualifying Competition on Sunday 14th of August, 2016.

Competition start times:

• Dry warm up will commence from 8:00 - 8:30 am
• Water warm up will commence from 8:30 am - 9:00 am
• Competition to commence at 9:00 am
• Finish time to be confirmed

Venue:

• Brisbane Aquatic Centre, Brisbane, Queensland

Competition Entry Fees:

Compulsory registration for all athletes:  $20.00

• Novice Level 1 and Novice Level 2: Board Fee is included in the compulsory registration fee.  You must select the event you are entering.

• Age and Junior Divers: Board fee for the first board is $15.  Board fee for second board is $10.  A maximum of 2 boards only allowed.

• For this competition only, we will be holding a synchro event for our divers competing at the School Sport Championships at the end of August.  This will be an opportunity for divers to have a practice run with unfamiliar synchro partners.  This event will be as per School sport age groups and rules.  Copy of info attached.  
  The board fee will be $10 per competitor ($20 per synchro team).

School Sport Australia Synchronised Diving rules

10-12 years boys and girls:  2 dives @ 2.0 degree + 1 dive no degree limit

13-14 years boys and girls:  2 dives @ 2.0 degree + 2 dives no degree limit

15-16 years boys and girls:  2 dives @ 2.0 degree + 3 dives no degree limit

17-19 years boys and girls:  2 dives @ 2.0 degree limit + 3 dives with no degree limit

Divers may use springboard and/or platform in sychronised diving.

Registration of Boards / Payment Deadline:

• Monday 8th of August, 6 pm

​Dive sheets:

• Online dive sheets to be submitted online via dive recorder by Thursday 11th August, 6pm

• Changes to dive sheets will NOT be accepted after 9:00 am on Saturday 13th August, 2016

• Any changes made from 6 pm on Thursday 11th August, to 9 am Saturday 13th August must be notified to the Competitions Committee at competitions@divingqld.org.au as a matter of urgency.
